Chicory is a fine coffee substitute in itself or with spices or ginger added. It combines well with real coffee and, as a result, coffee has a less stimulating effect. An all milk drink is made more digestible with chicory infused in it, and has a beautiful sweet flavour.
Ingredients: All certified organic and grown in New Zealand
The sachets contain very finely ground chicory root (Cichorium intibus), lightly roasted, and some roasted barley malt (not more than 10%). The chicory combines well with roasted malt and underlines the coffee likeness of the drink. Chicory fines are very difficult to handle and the roasted malt acts as a free-flowing agent.
The granules are small pieces of root without fines. They are made of 100% chicory root.
