Created by Sunrays experienced herbalists this tea blend is designed to support your journey through peri-menopause and into menopause.

This delicious herbal tea blend contains:

Organic Sage leaf - Salvia officinalis is common garden sage, grown with ease in NZ, and boasting a long history of medicinal and culinary use. German Commission E has approved its use as an anti-hydrotic for the symptomatic relief of excessive perspiration - aka night sweats! Sage also has a general relaxant and restorative effect on the nervous system and may help with indigestion and flatulence.

Wildcrafted St Johns Wort - a common tiny weed, hypericum perforatum has been a big hitter in the world of medicine since Paracelsus in the 16th Century. Today, many scientific trials support its use in treating mild to moderate depression, anxiety and help manage stress. Research has shown St Johns wort to be of benefit for the psychological aspects of menopause.

Hibiscus flowers - the beautiful flower of the hibiscus plant is high in antioxidants, which may help improve cardiovascular health, circulation and blood pressure. Hibiscus tea has a cooling effect on the body relieving hot flushes. Hibiscus has also been popularly touted as a weight loss management herb.

Ginkgo biloba leaf - Ginkgo tree is one of the oldest medicinal plants in history. Modern research supports its use as an antioxidant circulatory tonic, particularly improving brain function, memory and concentration. Ginkgo and St Johns wort are a helpful team during the menopausal and post menopausal years.

Organic Red Clover herb - another humble weed, trifolium pratense is commonly grown as animal fodder. Its medicinal value during menopause lies in its good phyto-oestrogenic potential. Red clover may be of use in the relief of menopausal symptoms and also as a preventative for cardiovascular heart disease and diabetes.

Dose - take one teaspoon of herb tea in one cup of hot water two to three times per day. Add honey for flavour and enjoyment :)

CAUTION - If you are on medication, or if symptoms persist then please contact your healthcare professional before taking this herbal tea blend.
